  • Doing It for the Art: On has taken commissions before, but he hasn't let heart disease stop him from providing free web games to his fanbase. He's also a person who enjoys spreading creativity through his creations.
  • Dummied Out:
    • Grow Cube's first music loop is actually incomplete and can be fully heard here. It can officially be heard in this video, which came out more than a decade after Grow Cube.
    • The game files of Grow Cube contain assets of a caterpillar-creature and a giant piece of meat, two scrapped ideas for the game.
    • The game files of the original Grow RPG contain an asset of the hero wearing a helmet and holding a shield, which never happens in the game. It would eventually happen (albeit with a slightly different design) in the Japan-exclusive phone game Grow RPG Sigma, which came out a decade after the Flash original game.
    • Even though the Sigma mode is not available on the web version and worldwide app version of Grow RPG, several assets exclusive to the mode can be found in the game's files.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: The phone versions of the Grow games have been removed from the app store. This includes the phone-exclusive extensions Grow Cube Omega and Grow RPG Sigma. As such, they can only be downloaded from unofficial sites.
  • No Export for You: There are two cellphone games that were only released in Japan:
    • Grow Cube Omega, which is an updated Grow Cube with plenty of new interactions between objects, different sound effects, remixed songs and a second mode called "Omega mode" that is unlocked after finding all possible object interactions. The second mode takes place on a second cube containing various elements on it. The gameplay simply consists of clicking on a button which makes a bird lay an egg. The egg is launched in a random direction and every element it encounters changes the egg's path and possibly its color too. Any element that interacts with an egg may also change, giving this element different interactions with future eggs. Eventually, the egg reaches a nest and hatches into a bird of the same color as the egg. If you hatch the same bird enough time, it evolves into another creature. Every bird evolves multiple times. You need to repeat the process until you get all ten different colored birds at max level. The worldwide Grow Cube app only has the updated main game (with the old sound effects and songs), which was later included in the web version as an update.
    • Grow RPG Sigma, which is an updated Grow RPG with the main game having some slight modifications, including: a rework of the "underground dungeon" object, the king being able to save the hero even if you don't have every item at max level, different sound effects, remixed songs and a special game over. The game also has a second level called "Sigma mode" where you play as the demon. The worldwide Grow RPG app only has the updated main game (with the old sound effects and songs), which was later included in the web version as an update. Interestingly, most assets of the Sigma mode are actually present in the web game's files.
  • Official Fan-Submitted Content: The goal of Grow nano vol.4 is to build a ceramic figure that was originally made by a fan in real life.
  • Promoted Fanboy: A Grow fan once made an Onky figure which On included in Grow Nano vol.4.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • Sometime there are ideas in Grow games that On had to cut because he didn't know how to include them, some scrapped ideas from Grow Cube can be found here though the burning stalk is possible since an update of the game. The assets for the caterpillar-like creature and the piece of meat are still present in the game's files.
    • There was a planned game called Grow Forest but On gave up on the idea because the game was too complicated to make.
