• Dueling Dubs: One of several Godzilla films to have multiple available Spanish versions. The first dub is a Latin American version made in Argentina around 1993, the second is a Castilian version made in 1995.
• No Export for You: Until 1998, this along with its sequels and Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah weren't exported to the US due to the controversy involving Vs. King Ghidorah until Tri-Star had the license to produce Godzilla (1998) and even released the Heisei films.
