Trivia / G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (IDW)

Go To

  • Channel Hop: Like the Devil's Due Publishing continuation before it, this series is a continuation of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (Marvel) done by a publisher other than Marvel Comics, this time being published by IDW Publishing. It then made another hop in 2023 after the license switched hands from IDW to Image Comics-owned Skybound Entertainment.
  • In Memoriam:
    • Issue 210 is dedicated to the memory of comic artist Jeremy Dale, who worked on the comics included in the 25th anniversary relaunch of the G.I. Joe toyline and passed away two months before the issue was published.
    • Issue 215 is dedicated to Herb Trimpe, who was an artist for the original Marvel Comics Real American Hero series and also passed away two months before the issue dedicated to him was published. Writer Larry Hama and artist S.L. Gallant both described their fondness for the man and how he'd be missed.
    • Issue 287 is dedicated to Robert Prupis, a World War II veteran and Hasbro employee who helped create the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline and passed away two months before the issue was published.
