Trivia / Frosted Wings

• Inspiration for the Work: The author took big inspiration from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and even more specifically from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind for the Fall of the Crimson King story.
  • Affinities are quite similar to the manga series' staple, the Stands.
    • One of the major differences between the two would be that Affinities do not project a character's spirit.
    • While a Stand has to be awakened through a Stand Arrow, select few are already born with an Affinity.
  • The character of the Kyushei/Crimson King is a big Shout-Out to Diavolo from Golden Wind.
    • The name of the Crimson King is nearly identical to Diavolo's Stand's name, King Crimson, just with both words swapped out. Both names reference the band King Crimson.
    • Both have a Split Personality, though in the case of the Crimson King it's subverted as he is a Corrupt Bureaucrat pretending to be a Badass Bureaucrat in the eyes of the public.
    • They don't take traitors lightly and go for the overkill using their abilities.
    • Their Stand/Affinity are the most effective in a 1-on-1 battle.
