• Cross-Dressing Voices: Justin, like his Superbook counterpart Chris, is voiced by Billie Lou Watt. In Japanese, Gen (Justin), Tsukubo (Corky), and Kandenchin (SIR) were all voiced by women (Satomi Majima, Runa Akiyama, and Kyoko Tonguu respectively).
• They Also Did: Tatsunoko Production contracted Studio Korumi to produce the animation for this series. Eight years later, they made Samurai Pizza Cats with many of the same staff. Flying House animation director Yoshio Kabashima was a character designer on Pizza Cats, and there is a similarity between the character designs for Justin and Angie in Flying House and the designs for the Pizza Cats, particularly in their faces.
