• Throw It In!: One scene at the end of the episode has Mal debriefing the crew after retrieving River, Simon and Jayne. When Mal walks up to Kaylee, he reaches for her shoulders, spins her around and pulls her close to him. This was apparently improvised by Nathan Fillion, and the writers decided to keep the scene.
