The makers of the show claim they knew about this beforehand and supported Robert, but at no point did they ever address Robert's past on the show, in order to maintain the image of him as a "Prince Charming".
- Stillborn Franchise: After the first season a second was already in the works, with an open casting call for new potentials suiter's for season two's Prince Charming. However, due to controversy surrounding season one Prince Charming's history of prostitution and porn, coupled with only mediocre to good ratings, a second season was canned.
