- In "The Spring Snow Incident", Manpuku Jinja draws Cirno's eyes with '9's in them for a few frames as she flees from Marisa.
- Likewise, in episode 2, Cirno attempts to use Icicle Fall against Marisa, but Marisa doesn't even need to dodge the attack.
- Episode 4 has Reimu wrecking the Scarlet Devil Mansion with her Fantasy Seal, much to the delight of fans who are familiar with the "SDM gets blown up" gag.
- No Budget: Manpuku Jinja's animation budget is minimal compared to large animation companies, yet they continue to make Touhou videos without shirking quality, even if that means it takes a year per episode.

- Schedule Slip: The fourth episode was originally meant to be released at Comiket 86 in August 2014, but due to some issues it was moved to Daikyushu Touhousai 10 instead. Unfortunately that couldn't be kept either, but the episode was finally released at Autumn Reitaisai.
