  • Banned in China: It wasn't exactly banned, but Argentine official Hugo Cabral called for a ban of the game in Argentina after playing it, due to the depiction of Native Americans in the game, which he found racist and xenophobic. This raised several discussions about the game, and ended up being a massive PR-boost for the developers, but it was never banned anywhere, despite the subject being touchy in several Latin American nations.
  • What Could Have Been: The game was partially financed by a successful fundraiser, raising $76.000 of a goal of $70.000. However, they had several stretch goals that were not realized. For $80.000 they would have passive abilities for the soldiers when you level up, for $90.000, greater variation in character models, for $100.000, ability trees for the in-game characters, and finally for the stretch goal of $160.000 an entire new map, set in the Inca Empire (the third after Hispaniola and Mexico appearing in the final game), with unique missions, thirty new random events, 2 new character classes, 8 new items, and new character models. In short, had more than twice the amount of money been raised, the game could have a third more content.
