- Cast the Expert: AJ Pickett, a YouTuber that focuses on Dungeons and Dragons lore was briefly brought in during the game's early stages to help with worldbuilding.
- Doing It for the Art: Wizards of the Coast initially rejected Tuque Games request to make a Dungeons and Dragons game but the team were determined to do so and they just continued on with designing what was originally a D&D game in all but name. As their work began to spread through the gaming industry, Wizards of the Coast were impressed enough with what they saw to reverse their stance.
- Follow the Leader: The game clearly was inspired by co-op games like Destiny and Marvel's Avengers with some Left 4 Dead sprinkled in.
- Schedule Slip: Like many games, the COVID-19 pandemic caused development issues that resulted in the game getting pushed back from 2020 to 2021.
- What Could Have Been:
- Tuque Games received offers from six different publishers to make the game prior to Wizards of the Coast getting involved in the project.
- The game in its early stages was apparently very similar to Diablo.
