• What Could Have Been: According to the book "Lou Scheimer: Creating the Filmation Generation", a Duncton Wood film adaptation was in the works, having just bought the rights to it. Unfortunately, for reasons unknown, the project never got off the ground and was left stagnant, with nothing else concerning whether or not it even saw production at all being recounted. Over forty years on, there has been no word for a film adaptation since.
  • However, there was a musical adaptation that premiered in 2015, though heavily condensing a lot of the material (including sacrificing some characters), but no surprise considering its huge length. It also only covers one half of the book, notably the Mandrake arc.
• No Export for You: With the exception of the first book, none of these were officially brought across the Pond.
