• Breakup Breakout:
  • Of Jesse and Festus. Despite being the son in real life of the legendary Terry Gordy of The Fabulous Freebirds fame, after he and Festus were broken up, Jesse was saddled with the Pretty Fly for a White Guy "Slam Master J" gimmick (which was inducted into WrestleCrap) for a while before being released.
  • He's also done the best of all the Straight Edge Society aside from Punk. Serena Deeb spent pretty much the entire 2010s under the wrestling radar, even entering semi-retirement, and it wasn't until 2020 when she would resurface in AEW and enjoy something of a Career Resurrection and winning the NWA World Women's Championship, while Joey Mercury never rose above the status he already had, and his only highlight since then being him teaming up with Jamie Noble to act as security for WWE Champion Seth Rollins as "J&J Security".
• Romance on the Set: Was once married to fellow pro-wrestler Amber O'Neal, who is ten years older than him.
