• Doing It for the Art:
  • Katherine states on her Instagram page that she does not take commisions, but she customizes dolls for the sake of creativity, and with the amount of detail that she puts into her work, it shows.
  • Among her most heavily requested series from commenters was for a Zodiac-inspired doll series. Katherine put the matter to bed in her 2020 Q&A video, saying that she simply isn't interested in the topic itself, at least not enough to motivate such a huge creative undertaking, and didn't want her creations to reflect that.
• Missing Episode: While the doll can still be seen in the skits of later Halloween specials, the video for the Wendigo doll was removed from the channel in 2020, as Katherine had come to see it as disrespectful to the indigenous cultures the character was derived from. In addition to taking down the episode and requesting no fan uploads, a one-minute apology video with a list of cited sources was added to the channel.
• What Could Have Been:
  • Usually at the start of each video, Katherine will go over the initial concept art for the doll she has in mind. (Concept Art can be found on her Instagram page) More often than not, the finished doll doesn’t look exactly like the original concept sketches based on available supplies and other circumstances. For example:
  • Umbreon came pretty close to having white hair instead of black.
  • Vaporeon was envisioned having a mermaid's tail instead of two human legs and a tail.
  • Nyx, her celestial dragon doll, had a pixie cut as a potential hairstyle.
