Trivia / Doctor Who Expanded Universe

• Ascended Fanon: Much of the very unofficial Doctor Who Audio Visuals ended up re-imagined in Big Finish Doctor Who and the Doctor Who Magazine comics, which in turn ended up inspiring official work. This is also generally true for other Fan Work contributions by Nicholas Briggs.
• Licensed Game:
  • The "adventure games" which are tied to Series 5 and 6.
  • Previously there was Destiny of the Doctors in the late 1990s and a couple of simple games for the BBC Micro and ZX Spectrum.
• Promoted Fanboy: Almost everyone who started out writing for the Expanded Universe ended up involved in the TV series proper, or in various other branches of the Expanded Universe.
