• During Iron Man's preview episode, Death Battle initially made an error in attributing the origin story of Tony's adoptive brother Arno Stark to Tony himself. The video was then taken down and re-uploaded with the correct information.
• This episode was entirely researched by Ben Singer (Wiz), the Death Battle research team had no part in gathering information.
• During the animation, various objects from pop culture appeared in the warehouse. These include: Dragon Balls, a Keyblade, Kryptonite, a Gundam, a Metal Gear, and the Batmobile. Of these series, Kingdom Hearts was the only one not to have a representative in Death Battle as of the end of Season 2 (Though Sora did show up in 1 Minute Melee) until Season 5 with Sora vs. Pit.
• This episode aired on the week of the US release of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Clips from that movie were shown when discussing Tony's Hulkbuster armor.
