  • There was originally a scene where Courtney and Pugsley go down to Plane 8 to visit Danny who gives them a magic book but it got cut in the final version and replaced with Courtney and Pugsley visiting the Dead End library.
  • Originally, in the Original Run Season 1, Norma wasn't going to travel through time with Barney and would've helped by sending important historical knowledge to Barney. It got cut for time.
  • In one draft of Issue 4, Barney and Logs was going to have their first kiss but it didn't felt right with Hamish Steele so he replaced it with Barney missing Logs.
  • After Pugsley's death, the Dead End phone would've rang and it would've been revealed that it was Barney's parents who called the house, asking Barney to come home.
  • Dead End was originally going to be a actual haunted house.
  • Asmodeus and Hox had different designs with the former being green and having a bushy mane and the latter being red with a referee outfit.
  • Barney had a bunch of different wrestling outfits designed.
  • The Divine was originally going to be 3 characters who were called the Divine Triumvirate. Their names were Valkelwa , Lucifer and Clotho.

    • Barachiel the Angelic Warlord who commands the Angelic armies.
    • Marut the Angelic Scribe who was associated with the Library of Metatron.
    • Samuel, an Angelic undertaker.
