- Doing It for the Art: Portland office worker JR Ralls won $1,000 in the Oregon lottery and decided to use the money to resurrect an idea he'd had to make a film adaptation of a Jack Chick tract that he'd read and been amused by in college. After getting approval from Chick Publications, he launched a successful Kickstarter campaign, hooked up with Zombie Orpheus Entertainment, and worked with a Seattle-based cast and crew to finish the film.
- No Budget: The Kickstarter campaign raised $25,000. The film was shot in six days.
