• Science Marches On: The film's dinosaurs are pretty much pre-Dinosaur Renaissance, including tyrannosaurs that walk in a tripodal stance and sauropods that dwell in swamps. Plus, Scolosaurus is portrayed with a horn on its nose and a pair of spikes on its tail club typical of outdated portraits. There's also the Cretaceous extinction event being caused by extreme drought similar to in Fantasia rather than an asteroid collision.
