Go To

  • Completely Different Title: The series is known as 超级酷乐猫 (Super Cat Kuro) on the Chinese mainland, known as 超级小黑咪 (Super Little Kuro) in Hong Kong, or 霹雳酷乐猫 (Thunderbolt Cat Kuro) in Taiwan. Also in Hong Kong, the manga was initially named 超级数码机械猫 (Super Digital Mechanical Cat/Super Digital Robot Cat), but was changed to its current name after the first few volumes were published, and almost all references to the series name were changed to reflect the current title in later pressings of the volumes.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • The Korean dub of the anime series is practically lost media, and the only proof of its existence currently available is the Korean theme song.
    • The highly acclaimed Latin Spanish dub has unfortunately been mostly lost, as only around 10 episodes have resurfaced despite the show airing as late as 2008 in Latin America.
    • The manga volumes has since been out of print.
  • Late Export for You:
    • South Korea didn't receive the anime series until 2004, when the ban on cultural Japanese products was finally lifted on that very year.
    • Vietnam also had to wait until 2009 when HTV3 somehow licensed the anime series and aired it there with the Vietnamese dub!
  • No Export for You:
    • The tie-in video game, released in 2002, weren't released outside Japan.
    • America didn't receive the franchise outside of Asia and parts of Europe, and Russia.
    • France only received the entire 11 volumes of the manga series, but not the spinoff one. While Germany only received the first three volumes of the manga series.
    • A few of the countries like Greece and Russia only got the anime series.
    • Italy subverts this trope because it received the first six volumes of the manga series along with the Italian dub of the anime series.
    • China, Hong Kong and Indonesia averts this trope as it received both anime and manga franchises, but Indonesia also got the entire two spinoff manga volumes and translated them into Indonesian. They have since been out of print as of 2010 though.
