• Channel Hop: Despite being a Brazilian co-production, the show was shown on Disney XD in Brazil rather than on Netflix.
• International Coproduction: Between Brazil's Birdo Studio and Canada's Entertainment One (with animation done in the latter country by Atomic Cartoons), being created for Teletoon in Canada and Netflix almost everywhere else.
• What Could Have Been: According to a Tweet from Pedro Eboli, Netflix commissioned a 45-minute special for the series (tentatively titled Cupcake and Dino's Half a Movie by Eboli and the crew). The writers even managed to complete a script (which would have involved Cupcake and Dino visiting a neighboring metropolis called Huge City), but unfortunately, the series was shelved shortly afterwards, resulting in the project's premature demise.

  • Mark Little, the voice of Dino, co-wrote the show's first episodes, "The Manly Men's Man Club" and "Mi Casa, Robo Casa", as well as "Mozoko", "The Manygoose", "Retrieval Boys", and "Ultimate Dino". He also wrote the script for the 45-minute special that could have been (see above).
  • Kyle Dooley, the voice of Uncle Chance and Sneaky Stan, wrote "Goody Family 101", "Cupsy", "Cupcake & Dino Go Hollywood", "Skull Peninsula", "Uncle Chance: General Servicer", "Little Mister Big City Pageant", "Cupcake & Dino Are on the Lam", "Cupcake & Dino Are Catsitters!", and "Old School Pool Rules".
