• Breakup Breakout: The (relative) Jannetty in the Second City Saints, his partner being CM Punk, who is world famous and a five-time world champion in the WWE. Compare that to Cabana, who got released from WWE after a brief run as a jobber and is a two-time world champion in the NWA (a belt which Punk claims, is nothing compared to the Ring Of Honor World Title belt, something else Punk won that Cabana did not). Though he hit superstardom compared to what happened to the third member of the group, Ace Steel, who never got out of developmental and doesn't have a world title to his name at all. This translated to All Elite Wrestling, where Cabana is a lower-card wrestler that regularly has matches on Dark and is a background member for The Dark Order, while Punk became AEW World Champion within a year of his debut with the promotion, and Steel got signed on only as a producer. A person could even argue that Cabana is more well-known for being Punk's (now-former) best friend than as a wrestler in his own right.

  • On AOW Mad Man Pondo claimed Cabana, CM Punk and Sherri Martel were in the running for a booking on Jerry Springer.
  • Matt Classic would have entered into a love triangle involving Lizzy Valentine and Matt Sydal had Wrestling Society X continued.
  • It was thought Jim Cornette\Delirious had run off Colt Cabana during the time they teamed up to book for ROH, but after Cornette's departure, ROH extended an invite for Cabana to come back only to be turned down on the basis he didn't like their new "corporate" structure. Something he was sure to announce when he finally did return to ROH, saying the title belt and Carry Silkin were the only reasons he was there.
