• Public Domain Soundtrack: The music in Stage 6, the Chapel. The main track "Passpied" is in fact part of ''Suite Bergamasque'', "Passepied" by Claude Debussy. Likewise the boss theme for that stage for Christopher's fight with Soleil is Chromatische Phantasie by Johann Sebastian Bach.
• What Could Have Been: According to the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, there was to be an escape route stage of the collapsing castle after defeating Dracula, which was sketched out.
