- The game has only seen a brief rerelease as a bonus for PS3 owners who pre-ordered the 2013 remake. Otherwise, it and its sequels have not seen a rerelease on any other platforms for years. Come 2019, however, and the Sega Genesis Mini was announced to include the game (as well as World of Illusion) among the pre-installed 40 games.
