  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: A few of the shorts are available on various DVDs, but the majority aren't. And being an anthology show which would require tracking down every director to allow their shorts to be sold, it's highly unlikely this series will ever come to DVD.
    • The shorts that are available on DVD: Many of Bill Plympton's shorts, "Boris the Dog", "The Dirdy Birdy", "Espresso Depresso", "Genre" and "Lily & Jim" (both by Don Hertzfeldt), "Killing Heinz", "The Sandman", "Space War", and "Stick Figure Theatre: Night of the Living Dead".
  • Missing Episode: The fifth episode has yet to surface in its entirety; only select shorts from it are viewable online: "Rip-n-Glide", "Boris the Dog", "Call Me Fishmael", "Fast Driver", and "Robin: Uncle Harry".
  • What Could Have Been: "The Dirdy Birdy" was planned to have a sequel in the 2010s, but it only exists in storyboard format.

Miscellaneous trivia:

  • The prologue of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee was featured in the Halloween episode, as was the animated short that would eventually lead to Trick 'r Treat.
