• The Danza:
  • Peter Ford plays a deputy named Pete.
  • In the episode "One Small, Acceptable Death", William Smithers plays a character named William Courtney.
  • Betty Ann Carr as dispatcher Betty Ann Sundown, who's always called by her last name.
• I Want You to Meet an Old Friend of Mine: Glenn Ford and Edgar Buchanan went back a long way...in fact, Buchanan was Ford's DENTIST before going into acting. Once Buchanan embarked on an acting career, he appeared in quite a few of Ford's movies.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: No DVD release for Cade's County, but the entire series is on YouTube.
  • Lampshaded slightly with the compilation movie The Marshal of Madrid turning up on a few low-budget comps of Western movies, but you're probably better off viewing the episodes as they were meant to be seen.
• Real-Life Relative:
  • Peter Ford, who played Pete the Deputy, was Glenn Ford's real-life son.
  • Kathryn Hays, who guest-starred in the episode "Ragged Edge", was Glenn Ford's real-life ex-wife.
  • Laraine Stephens, who guest-starred in the episode "Safe Deposit", was married to series' Executive Producer David Gerber from 1970 until his death in 2010.
