• Completely Different Title: In German the episode was titled Der Handschuh von Myhnegon ("The Glove of Myhnegon")
• Deleted Scene:
  • In a line cut for length, Cordelia states that she's not convinced about the newly reformed Angel:
    Cordelia: Okay, but when there's a big massacre, who gets the I-told-you-so?
    Xander: You get the I-told-you-so.
    Cordelia: Just so we're clear...
  • Faith's comment on the interior design of the hotel room was also cut:
    The decorator just left. Cost me a pretty penny - but a motif like this don't come cheap.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The Glove of Myhnegon was originally supposed to be a falconer's glove that summoned some sort of demonic bird; Gwendolyn Post would try to control it, but it would kill her instead. Apparently the budget would have only allowed the bird to appear for about 30 seconds, and it became a joke around the studio that this particular script was unfilmable. Hence the change to a simpler Shock and Awe power.
  • According to Doug Petrie, there was some debate as to whether Gwendolyn was human or not.
