Trivia / Brony D&D

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Both Joshscorcher and Aramau play multiple roles, which often leads to a conversation entirely voiced by them.
  • Actor Leaves, Character Dies: Rose was killed after Sweetie left the group.
  • Actor-Shared Background: According to her player, Faerthurin’s love of books and initial hostility was inspired by Eliyora’s own bookworm tendencies and past coldness.
    • And of course Ivan is almost a carbon copy of his player.
  • All-Star Cast: The RP gets it’s name for featuring well known members off the brony community as it’s players. ...As well as Lunacorva.
  • Amateur Cast: Very few of them have any professional training in improv or voice acting and this is their first time playing D&D.
  • Bonus Episode: The live prequel episodes that were hosted at Bronycon.
  • Bonus Material: As well as the post-season three livestreams, there are also fan fics of varying canonicity written by Aramau (Who plays Reyin, Zariel, Hana, Fierna, Glasya, Rime and Tantomile.)
  • Creator Backlash: Word of The DM is that Season Three is his least favourite season.
    • He has also said that he finds the episodes released during the Toon drama unwatchable due to said drama.
  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Both Josh and Aramau play characters with different genders to their own.
  • Fake Brit: Aramau plays Hana with a british accent despite being Californian
  • Killed by Request: Rose was unceremoniously Killed Off for Real per request of her player.
  • Line to God: The players and DM all have twitter and or tumblr accounts. As well as occasionally appearing in the fan discord.
  • Lying Creator: Not exactly the creator, but Lunacorva DID lie about Having to leave for season 4 in order to keep the twist of Ravvas’ return a secret.
  • One-Take Wonder: Many of the performances listed under He Really Can Act were done wholly improvised and without a script.
  • Playing Against Type: Dr Wolf, who normally plays kind and patient Nice Guys plays the snarky and manipulative Smug Snake Oin.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Lunacorva, who started out as a fan of the RP before becoming a player As well as the Big Bad in Season 4.
  • Role-Ending Misdemeanor: ToonKriticY2K was exposed as a sexual predator back in January 2018, leading to his character being written out after Episode 66.
  • Romance on the Set: Both Josh and Aramau started dating while working on the RP together. They are now Happily Married.
  • Trolling Creator: Half the things Josh puts the party against is there just to mess with them. Or is a seemingly Hopeless Boss Fight with a laughably easy solution.
    • Calling him "creator" might be a stretch, but Lunacorva was clearly having FAR too much fun convincing everyone on the Discord server that Ravvas really had betrayed the party.
    • Taken up to eleven by Lunacorva after Ravvas returns as the Big Bad of Season 4 and the Man Behind the Man of Season 3. Literally his first words in the fan Discord post the episode's release:
  • What Could Have Been: Had it not been for Jeminya’s unplanned death in the labyrinth, Seasons three and four would never have happened.
