  • Beam Me Up, Scotty!: "I burn for you" during Simon and Daphne's Love Confession was incorrectly attached to Simon by many viewers. Regé-Jean Page even had to disclaim that it's Daphne who says the line, not Simon, and his actual line is "When one burns for someone who doesn’t feel the same". It probably didn't help that he did say the line as part of his host monologue on SNL.
Page: I do not say, 'I burn for you'; it's not my line! Everyone clearly was feeling very burned for, which I'll take as a compliment.
  • Blooper: In season 2 episode 7, when Anthony and Kate start making out, he tries to touch between her thighs and her thighs are visibly bare. However, later when he strips her down, she is revealed to wear a tap pants and white stockings that even her thighs skin are barely visible before he eventually takes them off.
  • The Danza: Freddie Stroma (real name Frederic) as Prince Frederick/Friedrich of Prussia.
  • Dawson Casting:
    • Eloise is presumably in her late teens, as her older sister has just debuted and she is next in line. Her actress, Claudia Jessie, was 31 when the show came out.
    • Nicola Coughlan, who plays Eloise's contemporary and best friend Penelope, was 33 at the time of premiere, but convincingly looks the part of a teenage girl.
    • Edwina (presumably around the age of 21), played by Charithra Chandran. She has softer features than Kate and looks the part of a considerably younger sister, but in real life Chandran was about 25 when her character debuted. The same goes with Phoebe Dynevor in season 1.
  • Killer App: The show topped The Witcher's record of being the most-watched Netflix series ever within a month of its release. Netflix subsequently renewed the show through a whopping four seasons after releasing just one. And on May 14th, a spinoff prequel series focusing on the younger years of Queen Charlotte and the Bridgerton matriarch Violet has been ordered.
  • The Other Darrin: After fleeting appearances across the first two series as Francesca Bridgerton, recurring cast member Ruby Stokes left the series to take the lead in another project and will be replaced by Hannah Dodd as a series regular, heralding a more important role for Francesca going forward.
  • Separated-at-Birth Casting: Jonathan Bailey, Luke Thompson, and Luke Newton, the actors cast to play Anthony, Benedict, and Colin Bridgerton (respectively), all look similar enough to convincingly pass as brothers. In fact, some viewers even have trouble telling them apart.
  • Throw It In!: Jonathan Bailey stated that Anthony's line where he is telling Kate "I will stop, I will stop." at the gazebo scene in season 2 episode 7, was not in the script and was improvised. He added, "I think there's something incredibly sexy about consent generally".
  • Troubled Production: Season 2's production was halted multiple times following positive COVID-19 tests.
