- Follow the Leader: The original mini-series cast Elsa very much in the vein of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Lara Croft, Tomb Raider. By the time of her next appearance, however, this wouldn't be the case.

- Cowboy BeBop at His Computer: For a very long time, any Internet articles or discussions on the game seemed convinced that Greece is a major location in the game and Greco is the main villain, when in fact all of this is simply the tutorial level.
- Creator Killer: This is Bizarre Creations' final game. While Blur didn't make any sales impact and certainly contributed to Bizarre's eventual shutdown, this was the project that convinced Activision that the studio was no longer viable.
- Keep Circulating the Tapes: Like the Quantum of Solace adaptation before it, and Goldeneye Wii and 007 Legends afterwards, Blood Stone was pulled from circulation once Activision's license for the franchise expired.
