• Channel Hop: The second season moved to online streaming on Paramount+.
• Fake Brit: Sofia Pernas is American (by Moroccan-Spanish descent) and puts on a British accent as Lexi. This leads to a bit in Season 2 where it turns out she's been posing as an American with an old contact and Pernas uses her real voice.
• Schedule Slip: There's a three-year gap between the first and second seasons because this show was one of the worst TV victims of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Production was underway when the pandemic forced it into multiple extended shutdowns. Even when production resumed and wrapped, CBS kept it in reserve for so long that the options on the cast's contracts expired. Matt Barr later joked that fans would have to wait another five years for a third season.
• What Could Have Been: Season 2 was supposed to explicitly set in 2020, but due to the long delay in getting episodes out, a decision was made to scrub all references to the year from the dialogue and make the time setting more vague.
