Go To

  • Acting for Two: Void and the narrator are voiced by Unshō Ishizuka and John Avner in Japanese and English respectively.
  • Completely Different Title: Outside of Japan, the anime title is shortened from Sword Wind Chronicle Berserk to simply Berserk.
  • Directed by Cast Member: Michael Sinterniklaas, the English dub's director and main scriptwriter, appeared as a soldier in episode 9. He also voiced Dante, one of Corkus' ill-fated grunts in episode 2, and numerous inconsequential characters throughout the show.
  • Late Export for You: The anime wasn't released in North America until 2002-2003, five years after its premiere on Japanese television.
  • The Other Darrin: For the English dub, Godot's grunts in the first episode's cold opening were performed by Sean Schemmel. His proper debut in episode 20, in addition to his parting words to Guts in the last episode's stinger, would be voiced by Greg Abbey.
