- Schedule Slip: The Three Jokers was first announced in 2015, and updates became null as Jason Fabok kept teasing art panels and saying the book was almost complete. Keep in mind that he was teasing it for four years and counting. It finally got a release date of June 2020, then was moved to August 2020 thanks to the COVID-19 Pandemic. People speculate that the delays in Doomsday Clock, which was already on a Schedule Slip, had something to do with it.
- Shrug of God: Geoff Johns has explicitly said that it's up to other writers to decide if this series is canon or not. Chip Zdarsky's Batman run officially puts it in Canon Discontinuity with the "Joker: Year One" story revealing the Joker is indeed just one person and the "three Jokers" is just the him having Dissociative Identity Disorder.
