• Dueling Games: With Formula Fusion, since both are made as Spiritual Successors to the original WipEout series, the difference being that the latter is made by former members of Psygnosis/Studio Liverpool whereas the former is made by fans of the original games.
• Dummied Out: The "Vault" and "Extra" tracks obviously were removed in later updates, due to not meeting the standards of the 0.9 and 1.0 track updates. However, most of the current tracks's earlier iterations, as well as removed beta tracks, have been made available for download through the Steam Workshop.
• What Could Have Been:
  • BallisticNG started out as a WipEout HD/2048 clone with a hint of the older installments and the graphics were in high-definition including the ships themselves. In later versions, the game itself received a necessary downgrade to resemble Wip3out and the older games as well. Fortunately, both the original G-Tek and Hyperion crafts can be downloaded on the Workshop.
  • A Nintendo Switch version was planned, but ultimately cancelled in September of 2023 due to Unity's sudden draconian change to their policies requiring any developer using the engine for their games to pay Unity back for every individual user install.
