• Acting for Two: In the Japanese version, Mitsuki Saiga voices both Izanami and Lily's mother. Succession would also feature Tomomichi Nishimura voicing both Lily's dad and Zachary.
  • The voices for the Crouse Brothers in episode 1, and criminals Red and Blue in episodes 2 and 3 are the same as one another in the Japanese dub.
  • For Season 1 of the dub, Erika, child Yuna, and the twins are all voiced by Cristina Valenzuela.
• B-Team Sequel: Succession, while keeping most of its staff on the animation front; switches out Kazuto Nakazawa and Yoshiki Yamakawa as series directors for Itsuro Kawasaki, one of Season 1's Episode directors. Though Nakazawa still remains involved with Character Design, Chief Animation Direction, and joins in with Script Composition and screenplay this time around.
• Serendipity Writes the Plot: The original setting for the series was meant to be a fictionalized version of San Marino in Italy. Once the production crew caught wind that Lupin III: The Italian Adventure was going to be set there, they came up with the Italy-inspired island of Cremona in its place.
• Sequel Gap: Three years and sixteen days between the releases of Season 1 (March 2, 2018) and Succession (March 18, 2021)
• Troubled Production: It's been hinted by series producer Rui Kuroki that this happened with Succession, noting how most of the staff was strained due to the COVID-19 Pandemic hampering production.
• What Could Have Been: Succession itself was meant to be part of Season 1's plot.
• Written by Cast Member: The dub script is written by Jalen K. Cassell, Eric's voice actor.
