- All-Star Cast: Édouard Baer, Gérard Depardieu, Fabrice Luchini, Catherine Deneuve, Guillaume Gallienne, Valérie Lemercier, Dany Boon, Bouli Lanners...
- Approval of God: Albert Uderzo liked the film much more than its two predecessors.
- Completely Different Title: "God Save Britannia" is this to the original French title that translates as "On Her Majesty's Service".
- No Export for You: Somehow, Asterix & Obelix: God Save Britannia did not make it to Britain. Though the publisher of the French DVD did include the option of English subtitles, perhaps to compensate for the lack of an English dub.
- The Other Darrin: From the previous film, Asterix at the Olympic Games (which already darrin-ded a number of roles).
- Édouard Baer replaced Clovis Cornillac as Asterix.
- Fabrice Luchini replaced Alain Delon as Jules César.
- Role Reprise: In the Latin American Spanish dub, Luis Alfonso Mendoza reprised his role as Asterix from the dub of the animated film based off the original book.
- You Look Familiar: Édouard Baer played Otis in the second film, Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra, and he plays Asterix here.
