Trivia / Arc-Ved Protagonists

  • Blooper: Since Kurimaster tries to make the duels play out the way they would with the rules of the real-life card game and the real life versions of cards, any point where he messes up counts.
    • In “Synchro Testing”, Stardust Charge Warrior is played as a Level 5 monster, but in the actual game it is level 6. Also, the real world version of Jet Warrior cannot be special summoned in attack position with it's effect.
    • In “Dark Fusion” the Chain order at between Frightfur Sheep and Inferno Wing was switched, in the real game, Frightfur Sheep would have been summoned before Inferno Wing could effect resolves, taking itself out of the GY, which would have made it so Inferno Wing couldn't inflict any damage with it's effect.

  • Line to God: It is possible to send a message to Kurimaster through fanfic.net, or through his deviantart accont. Leaving a comment on one of his the fanfics is also a good way to “speak” to him.

  • Shrug of God: Whenever Kurimaster was asked rather or not Yubel was fused with Jaden in this story, his reply has been along these lines, as rather or not the statement was true, the story would go the same regardless.

  • What Could Have Been: The original plan for this series was for it to only contain 4 one-shots, each one featuring a different one of the Dragon Boys dueling against an alternate version of one of the 4 Main Protagonists from previous Yugiohs. However the desire to make the duels align with Arc-V cannon (which means Yuri couldn't loose) combined with the fact that Kurimaster thought it wouldn't be right if Jaden lost to Yuri meant a Yuri V Jaden duel couldn't happen. As such, he compromised by spitting that part of it into two, one where Yuri duels a different Aued GX character (“Reluctant Choice”), and one where an Alternate Jaden dueled a different Arc-V character (“Dark Fusion”), the latter of which then got extended to do people liking it.
