• I Just Write the Thing: The author has expressed surprise at how the Third Age developed, and how much he came to like all the characters.
• What Could Have Been: Chapter 5 was supposed to be the end of the Third Age portion of the story. However, the author wanted to give the Final Battle between Jade and Trace a full chapter dedicated to it, rather than just squeezing it in on top of everything else happening that chapter.
• Word of God: The force behind the Omega: The End card has been confirmed by the author to be the same Omega mentioned in several of his other works, the apparent main evil of the multiverse that his writings all exist in.
