  • Mr. String and Mr. Shoe are both voiced by Gary Yudman.
  • Sandy Correia voices Mrs. Shoe and Lacey Shoe.
  • Amanda Kaplan voices Mop and Mary Jane Shoe.
  • Bob Kaliban voices Little Cup and Plush.
• Adored by the Network: Despite only having two seasons and finishing in 2000, as of 2020 it still airs reruns until February 2024. Most preschool shows are lucky to be in reruns for 4 years, nevermind nearly 20.
• Children Voicing Children: Bob the Ball was voiced by Cameron Bowen, who was 10 years old at the time of the show's premiere.
• Fake Nationality: New York-born Gerrianne Raphael and Los Angeles native Rafael Ferrer voice Pad & Pencil with French accents.
• Keep Circulating the Tapes: Even though as stated above, HBO still airs the show, it is still impossible to find it elsewhere. The show never had a home video or DVD release, and can rarely be found online, as most streaming apps have only five or at maximum less than 11 episodes of the show. Even worse, there are rumors that there are episodes of the show that haven't aired in years, one of them being the series finale, A Little Curious About Life, which is reportedly lost. However, Comcast OnDemand and HBO Max have almost every episode of the series.
  • As of 2021, 22 episodes can be watched on Youtube in full, including the aforementioned series finale. Episodes 15, 35 and 36 have incomplete footage taken from camrips of reruns.
• What Could Have Been: An article from 1999 brings up "HBO is working on building a bigger audience for the show. There’s even talk of merchandising." No merchandising of the show was ever made, nor was HBO really successful on building a bigger audience for the show as it ended after its second season.
