  • In the first post Secret Wars issue Singularity crash lands in New York a couple of hipsters wonder what she is, the man suggests adopting her and constructs a backstory for her very similar to Superman.
• Executive Meddling: The series suffered a lethal case when Marvel decided that Carol Danvers and Medusa would be the antagonists of Civil War II, while She-Hulk would become a victim of the miniseries' inciting event. Losing access to three of its main characters pretty much doomed the series to cancellation within a year of its post-Secret Wars phase.
• Follow the Leader: The idea of a super group that unites the greatest super heroines of Marvel had been done a pair of years before, with the Fearless Defenders
• Schedule Slip:
  • The second issue's release was postponed for a month because of the delays with the Secret Wars (2015) miniseries.
  • And the All-New, All-Different Marvel relaunch of the title got pushed from the originally intended 2015 December back to 2016 January.
• What Could Have Been: Kelly Thompson had plans for at least two further arcs, including one where A-Force teams up with Black Widow and one where America Chavez joins the team as a replacement for either Carol or She-Hulk.
