Pre-Series

  • 1949: Shiro Kazami and Yuki Noji are born.
Series 1973
  • Shiro Kazami witnesses the murder of his family by the terrorist organization Destron, before being saved by The Double Riders. He asks them to turn him into a Kamen Rider in order to destroy Destron and avenge his family. The Double Riders initially refuse but change their minds when Shiro Injures himself trying to save them, and turn him into Kamen Rider 3. Destron Great Leader is also revealed to be a reincarnation of the Great Leader of Gel-Shocker, the terrorist organization that the Double Riders fought. (Ep. 1)
  • V3 defeats Scissors Jaguar and Turtle Bazooka. The latter seemingly kills the Double Riders, but they telepathically tell V3 that they're alive, and entrust him in protecting Japan in their place. (Ep. 2)
  • V3 defeats Squid Fire and TV Fly. (Ep. 3-4)
  • V3 defeats Machine Gun Snake and Hammer Jellyfish. (Ep. 5-6)
  • V3 defeats Knife Armadillo and Chainsaw Lizard. (Ep. 7-8)
  • V3 defeats Lens Ant and Razor Sea Star. (Ep. 9-10)
  • V3 defeats Pickel Shark and Drill Mole. (Ep. 11-12)

  • V3 defeats Mantis Boomerang. (Ep. 25)
  • V3 defeats Heater Cicada. (Ep. 26)
  • Destron revive the four generals of Shocker and Gel-Shocker (Colonel Zol, Doctor Shinigami, Ambassador Hell and General Black) as well as four fallen Shocker Monsters. V3 defeats them as well as Quoit Stag beetle. (Ep. 27-28)
  • V3 defeats Camera Mosquito. (Ep. 29)
  • V3 defeats Doktor G/Crab Laser. (Ep. 30)
  • Destron replace the fallen Doktor G with Baron Kiba. V3 defeats Skull Warthog. (Ep. 31)
  • V3 defeats Will-o'-the Wisp Walrus. (Ep. 32)
  • V3 defeats Snow Wolf with the help of the Double Riders, who briefly return to assist him. (Ep. 33)
  • V3 defeats Ayanokoji/Primoridal Tiger with the help of the Double Riders, who leave again after the fight. (Ep. 34)
  • V3 defeats Baron Kiba/Vampiric Mammoth. Destron replace him with Archbishop Tsubasa. (Ep. 35)
  • V3 defeats Flame Condor. (Ep. 36)
  • V3 defeats Kodama Flying Squirrel. (Ep. 37)
  • V3 defeats Murderous Dokugahra. (Ep. 38)
  • V3 defeats Man-Eating Banana Plant. (Ep. 39)
  • V3 defeats Archbishop Tsubasa/Zombie Bat. Destron replace him with Marshal Yoroi. (Ep. 40)

  • Yuki Noji, a Destron scientist, is betrayed by Marshal Yoroi and is sent to be executed before being saved by his collagues and becomes Riderman. V3 first encounters Riderman after he saves him from Sickle-Neck Turtle. (Ep. 43-44)
  • Riderman, disgusted by Destron's action, finally defects from them and allies with Kamen Rider V3. V3 defeats Rhinoceros Tank. (Ep. 45-46)
1974
  • V3 defeats Coelacanth Kid. (Ep. 47)
  • V3 defeats Thorned Starfish. (Ep. 48)
  • V3 defeats Vampire Chameleon. (Ep. 49-50)
  • Riderman stops Destron's Pluton Rocket, at the cost of his life. V3 grieves his death and recognizes him as a true Rider, naming him "Kamen Rider 4". (Ep. 51)
  • V3 defeats Marshal Yoroi/Zariganna and the Great Leader of Destron. (Ep. 52)
