As this incident reminds him of his own engagement to Mahoro, Asuka expends a great deal of energy to help defeat the Trinoid but passes out shortly afterwards. When Reje doesn't return and they learn from Yatsudenwani that she is with Mikoto, Mikela has her transport another Trinoid to Another Earth whose actual mission is to bring her home. While trying to find the object within the rock, the Abaranger deal with a being known as Killer Ghost, created by Mikoto after he takes over the Evolian leadership with little problem (much to the displeasure of Jeanne, Mikela, and Voffa) with the power to eat and absorb Bakuryuu after Mikoto uses Bacchi and Dimenoko as bait and after Abaren Oh's defeat, has Killer Ghost capture Tyranno, Kera, and Ptera. (Ep. 29-30)
  • Fifteen hours after their initial defeat at the hands of Abare Killer's servant, the Abaranger once again confront Killer Ghost, this time with all the Bakuryuu released from it's stomach due to not melting away with the power of their wills protecting them, with Mikoto instead trying to corrupt them into dark Bakuryuu. The team hold off Killer Ghost long enough for Asuka to finish carving the special weapon; pouring their combined Dino Guts into it, Ryouga becomes the new warrior, given the title Abare Max as it crushed Killer Ghost. After the Bakuryuu are saved, Bacchi-chan and Dimenoko apologize to the team for failing to believe in them prior. (Ep. 31)

At the same time, Asuka finally realizes with the mystery girl's help that Jeanne was Mahoro all along; storming onto the Anomalogaris, he confronts her in hopes of saving her from the Armor of Darkness and confirms her identity because of his flower band. With no other options, Asuka strikes her down, seeming to kill Jeanne, and apparently dying in the explosion. Unknown to everyone else, Asuka in that moment had decided to take back the Armor of Darkness, enabling for both of them to survive. Though the Abarangers and their allies grieve over Asuka's apparent death, when discovering and fighting the emergent Trinoid 2: Hirurindou (who had been hiding as martial artist Satake Amikasa), they become mocked by Mikoto, who had gotten ahold of Asuka's Dino Harp; after Mikoto makes some insults towards Asuka, the resulting anger allows the Abarangers to tap into their inner Dino Guts. As a result of the power increase, this allows Yukito and Ranru to maintain their transformation after donating their power for Ryouga to become Abare Max. This leads the Abaranger to realize the possibility that Asuka is still alive. However, Ryouga later has some doubts after the Armor of Darkness attacks him and Ranru when it intervenes in their next battle against Mikoto, before mysteriously backing off after it hesitates to attack them. (Ep. 36)

The mystery spirit is forced to possess Mai in order to survive before re-establishing itself. While fighting a Giganoid hijacked by Rejewel and Abare Killer, Max Oh Ja fuses with the four auxiliary Bakuryuu to become Max Ryuu Oh in order to defeat the giant opponent. (Ep. 37)
  • In order to try and convince her parents that she does not want to move to Thailand with them, Emiri dresses up as "Abare Pink" to assist the Abaranger; but is turned into a rafflesia flower by Trinoid 20: Rougirafleshia in the process. The battle against the Trinoid, Mikoto and Rejewel suddenly is made more unpredictable by the Armor of Darkness appearing, whom the Abaranger finally learn is Asuka, which also causes Mahoro to regain her memories upon witnessing this with the others who are watching the battle on the viewscreen at the Dino House. However, Asuka runs away after seeing his teammates. (Ep. 38)
  • After confirming she has her memory back and explaining the truth to the Abarangers, Mahoro decides to secretly leave to track down Asuka, where she intervenes in his battle against Mikoto. This allows Asuka to defeat Mikoto, but their moment of embrace is ruined when Asuka attacks Mahoro, injuring her arm. Meanwhile, after witnessing the Abarangers save Emiri and the other girls that were affected by Rougirafleshia upon defeating her, as well as understanding the importance of how their daughter had been supporting the team, Emiri's parents give Ryunosuke their permission to allow Emiri to live in the Dino House. Afterwards, the Abarangers learn of Mai's new connection with the mysterious girl. (Ep. 39)
  • In order to save Asuka, Mahoro leaves Dino House while disabling the dimensional door alarm and returns to Dino Earth to become Jeanne again; with a plan of using a combination of "good and evil" to destroy the Armor of Darkness with the help of Abare Killer. They succeed, but Mikoto tries to take the armor for himself in order to rid himself of his problems with his Abaranger Suit, only for the armor to crumble to dust with it's ultimate destruction. Asuka attacks Jeanne believing Mahoro has betrayed him again, only to find out her plan when touching her face horns, thus believing her and allowing her to proceed despite losing her again. Asuka later reveals to Ryouga that the real reason behind Mahoro's actions is for her to deal with unfinished business within the Evolian (which unknown to him has to do with saving their daughter). (Ep. 40)
  • The Abarangers team up with the Hurricanegers to defeat the Evil Ninja Iga. (Abaranger Vs. Hurricaneger)note
  • Mikela creates a reindeer-themed Trinoid with the power to turn humans into Barmia Soldiers which he claims will allow them to turn all the humans of Another Earth. However, Mikela's true agenda which he reveals to both Jeanne and Voffa is to find which human possesses the other half of Dezumozolrya who wouldn't become a Barmia Soldier as they already possess Evolian Cells. Mikela's goal is to use the missing half to help awaken the Dino Earth half of Dezumozolrya within Rejewel (which had become dormant) so they could unite both halves and get rid of Mikoto. After the Abarangers narrowly save Mai before she could be fully infected, and learn from the mysterious girl what is happening, Asuka while remaining behind with Mai, learns that Dino Guts can destroy Evolian cells and cure the victims. With the help of the friends and families of the victims the Abarangers succeed in destroying the Trinoid and save the victims. Despite this however, Mikela's plan indirectly succeeds when his attempt to turn Mikoto into a Barmia solider backfires, confirming he is the Another Earth host of Dezumozolrya. (Ep. 41)
  • With his body approaching it's limit in using the Dino Minder, Mikoto challenges the Abaranger again in hopes of fighting a challenge with Max Ryu Oh; however, Stegoslidon and Top Galer's worry about Mikoto's condition and recklessness prevents Killer Oh from using it's true potential. After Killer Oh breaks apart, Stego returns to Brachio, choosing to no longer work with his former partner and return to the other Bakuryuu. Afterwards some government agents that Yukito has been working with to investigate Mikoto's background arrive and the Abarangers learn about Mikoto's sad and tragic past. (Ep. 42)
  • With no Bakuryuu assisting him and desperate for assistance, Mikoto accepts Voffa's latest "Killer Giganoid": Inextinguishable to fight the Abaranger under a game that it won't die unless he does. However in the midst of the battle, the Giganoid absorbs Mikoto to begin the process of awakening the Dezumozolrya of Another Earth. The Abaranger learn of Mikoto's potential fate from Yatsudenwani when he becomes captured by the team while watching Mikoto's latest fight (which he was tipped off by Mahoro who secretly did it as he would predictably leak the information to the Abaranger). After seeing one of the photos the Abarangers got of Mikoto's hometown, the mysterious girl recognizes a small tree which resembles the Tree of Life from the Evolian Base, giving the Abarangers a lead where to find Mikoto. The Abaranger then have a hard struggle when Inextinguishable fuses with the tree and it grows and revives two previous Giganoid. When Top returns to save his partner, he agrees to work with Asuka, allowing him to form Killer Oh. This gives the other Abarangers a chance to head into Inextinguishable after Mikoto, while Asuka holds off the two Giganoids with some help from the auxiliary Bakuryuu. Once inside the tree, the Abaranger find Mikoto is possessed by the awakened Another Earth Dezumozolrya, but after a struggle he regains control. Ryouga explains that Dezumozolrya had been manipulating his actions all along, which Mikoto only believes once Rejewel arrives and confirms Mikela and Voffa tricked him. Afterwards Mikoto manages to withstand the transformation by utilizing his Dino Guts, stopping the tree from spreading and allowing him to escape. Once Inextinguishable reverts back to normal, the Abaranger create a new formation Oo-Abaren Oh to destroy it. Afterwards Mikoto decides to leave the Evolian and focus his games against them instead, while as the two Apostles planned, the Dezumozolrya within Rejewel is awakened, determined to unite with his other half. Finally a team of five Abaranger, the team reveal their strongest combination weapon, the Superior Dino Bomber to stop the Trinoid and the plans for the lifeform's body. When Dezumozolrya tries to hold back the proceedings, Rejewel stops him on the grounds of not wanting to hurt Mikoto. Mikoto faints after the battle and is brought to Dino House to recover. Yatsudenwani later helps the Abaranger move Mikoto's stuff in so Mikoto could live with the other Abarangers for his own safety. (Ep. 46)
  • Without his intended body, Dezumozolrya completes his merging into Rejewel to use her as his final herald of destruction. However, Mahoro discovers a prophecy through a vision she receives from Styraco that she secretly sends to the Abaranger to save Rejewel due to being her daughter, but Dezumozolrya found out about her treason and captured her when the fight begins. The team has a hard time defeating Rejewel's new form until Mikoto, who briefly tries to leave the team once again after all he had done, returns to fulfill it; together, the team uses a massive combined blast of Dino Guts on Rejewel, appearing to destroy Dezumozolrya while freeing her. As she's freed, the mystery girl finally leaves Mai and re-merges with Rejewel with her work complete; she briefly turns back into Reje before returning to her true form: Mahoro's baby daughter. However, surviving the Superior Dino Bomber attack, Dezumozolrya's essence once again escapes using Mahoro's body. Deciding to no longer use Saurians to help him, Dezumozolrya re-merges Mikela and Voffa back to their original form and possesses them as Dezumo Voorla to begin another plan for a body: using the anger and hatred of people to resurrect Bakuren Oh. The Abaranger appear no match for this form until Mikoto reveals he has become immortal due to the Dezumozolrya within him. However, it isn't enough to stop Bakuren Oh's resurrection from within Tokyo Bay. (Ep. 47)
  • Taking Mikoto hostage, Dezumozolrya decides to steal back his Another Earth side within Bakuren Oh's cockpit to finally become whole once again. With the assistance of his and the other Abaranger's Dino Guts, the team blast him and kills Dezumozolrya's Another Earth half while destroying the evil mecha with Abaren Oh and Max Oh Ja, then Mikoto finally appears to finish off Dezumozolrya's Dino Earth half by destroying Dezumo Voorla with Killer Oh. However without his Dezumozolrya immortality, Mikoto both becomes mortal and begins the final countdown for the Dino Minder's explosion. In order to save them, Abare Killer decides to fly into space with Top Galer to prevent the explosion from destroying his new friends; Top Galer decides to stay with him out of respect. The bloodied Mikoto Nakadai dies mid-flight as the Dino Minder finally explodes, destroying his body and killing Top Galer in the process while saving the Earth. (Ep. 48)
  • Reduced to an essence, and with the death of his other half, the remaining half of Dezumozolrya merges with the Invasion Garden through Dino Earth's Tree of Life, taking one final form, Dezumogevirus, that allows for him to return to Earth with a platoon of Anomalogaris ships in order to reenact the 200 Days of Darkness on Earth; while likewise bringing Mahoro to Earth to be saved by Asuka after nearly giving up hope on her once again (before Yukito knocked some sense into him). In the midst of battle, Asuka sneaks into the Invasion Garden body to save her, but is stopped by another of Dezumozolrya's final forms: it's own version of the Armor of Darkness. (Ep. 49)
  • Ranru sneaks into the Invasion Garden and saves Asuka and Mahoro from the Dezumogevirus armor while Ryouga and Yukito hold off it's giant form with Abaren Oh and Max Oh Ja. Asuka becomes inspired to fight once again after Ranru reveals that despite what Dezumozolrya did to his wife, the baby is still his alongside Mahoro's. Once the Saurians are saved, the team uses a blast of Dino Guts to finish the job against the Evolian invaders: Ranru & Asuka against the Dezumogevirus armor, and Ryouga, Yukito & all the Bakuryuu on the giant. The giant Dezumogevirus tries to take out Abaren Oh and Max Oh Ja during it's final destruction, but the idea Yukito uses allows both of the mech to dig underground and survive the explosion. As the Dezumogevirus are destroyed, the Anomalogaris fleet go down with it, ending the Evolian threat forever. (Ep. 50)
  • With the gate to Dino Earth closing, Asuka, Mahoro and the Bakuryuu bid farewell to their Another Earth allies; with no home to return to, Yatsudenwani elects to stay on Another Earth. Before they leave, Asuka and Mahoro's baby is named Mikoto after the late Abare Killer. Six months after defeating Dezumozolrya, the Abaranger reunite at Dino House having moved on with their lives.
