  • After the kidnapping of Rain, Allenby started feeling horrible for not really getting over Domon and thinking of him when Rain has been kidnapped. Then she gets kidnapped herself, gets affected by the Berserker System again, but this time the system feeds on her insecurity. As a result, throughout the whole fight with Domon she's constantly screaming about what happiness truly meant, because she never got one. She thankfully got better from it, but to think that a Dogged Nice Girl could end up like that…
  • Much like in the original source, the tragedy and death of Princess Emeraude. It played just as much as in the original, but since Eagle Vision appeared earlier, the Magic Knights asked if there is a way out of this. But he already did the research and stated that it's the only way.
Hikaru: All she did was love someone! I don't understand it! Why does she have to die for that!?
    • Continuing further on this, Emeraude begs that she should be killed ASAP before she starts wishing for the destruction of Cephiro… and the real world as well. It wasn't just Cephiro that she thought of, but also the worlds around it, and she still had to die for it. Somber music overrode the battle music as the Magic Knights launched their new Spiral Flash attack and killed Emeraude, ending with Hikaru loudly crying in anguish. In the intermission after this, all possible Ace interviews are cancelled as Rami, Meryl and Amies express their sorrow over the Magic Knights, who locked themselves up in their room utterly traumatized.
    • This even takes over to the next scenario where the events of Mazinger Z: Infinity occur. Tetsuya is captured by Dr. Hell because he Took The Bullet for Kouji, who was also terribly wounded and had his Mazinger Z damaged by Dr. Hell too. All of the sudden, Hikaru moves in to cover for Kouji from new Cephiran monsters that just appeared on the other side of the T3 deployment place, isolating herself and if she battles a monster, her line of thought turns out to be rather suicidal, thinking that neither Mazinger pilot deserved what happened to them, and that she did instead.
  • We all saw this coming, but the death of Musashi Tomoe, who has been with you throughout around half of the game (25 scenarios, this time around) is an especially sad moment. Basically, Ryoma has been blinded by rage against Saotome for being falsely accused for murder and then jailed, so he went full on Leeroy Jenkins against Shin Dragon, not caring that he'd end up no better with the Invaders. After this, Musashi realized his true calling as the one who glued the team together and decided to throw himself to the Getter Rays, becoming one with it and allowed both Ryoma and Hayato to meet a lucid Saotome and realize that he was Good All Along, inheriting the Shin Getter Dragon with Benkei joining. When the T3 realized that Musashi was gone, they're shocked. A funeral for Musashi was held after the battle, with the Getter Team mourning and particularly Ryoma, because he knew it was his fault and the only way he could express it with Hayato is to punch each other once. This events seems more particularly closer to the ending of the 70's Getter Robo anime with Musashi dying a Heroic Sacrifice rather than his sudden death in Armageddon, minus Ryoma screaming Musashi's name, and still a heartbreaking event.
