  • "Over the Distance" in the first game has the recently passed Ishida fight with the angels in heaven because he needs to make amends with his wife. He is granted three hours back on Earth to do it. The level's a lot less Hot-Blooded than the rest of the game, and the loud whistles are replaced with soft beeps.
  • "Believe". Rina Shiratori is a rising figure skating star. Her little sister, Mana, is jealous that Rina is better than her, and wishes she would just disappear. That night, Rina dies from a car collision. At her funeral, Mana deeply regrets what she said, which leads to this scene as shown in the page's image:
Mana: I want to see sis Rina again!
    • The stage then follows Mana on her journey to win gold in Rina's place, all the while using her departed sister's skates. If you manage to do well in all stages, Rina's ghost will appear next to Mana and say one final goodbye.
    • If you successfully complete the song, the Asahi Ouendan team is shown to be crying.
  • "Glamorous Sky", the second bonus stage of Ouendan 2, where you help a young boy confess his love to his crush before she moves away. Especially if you do well because then she responds that she feels the same way, and you get a final picture of the boy waving goodbye to her, with tears in his eyes. That stage has also made the song into a Tear Jerker as well.
