Tear Jerker / Derek

• Derek being forced to put his favorite dog, Ivan, down. After trying to negotiate with the vet, offering to even give him one of his kidneys to give to Ivan, he finally agrees to let the vet do what needs to be done. Watching Derek hold Ivan as the doctor gives the injection, and the subsequent words from the vet (which are surprisingly comforting), make you just want to reach into your television and hold Derek while he cries on your shoulder.
