• Tru's family situation. her dad has the opposite goal then she does when it comes to if she should save the people, her sister uses drugs and her brother gambles. At the start, none of them take what's happening to her seriously.
• The end of "Reunion" even though Tru saved Candace she still didn't listen to Tru about their friendship
  • The flashback at the end of the episode when they agree to never stop being friends does not make it easier.
