- When Kalina, in spite of Dennis pleading with her not to, reveals to Arthur that the fourth ghost is none other than his late wife, Jean. He is naturally distraught by this and attacks Dennis, telling him that this is all his fault.
- The scene where Arthur sees Jean's ghost in the house after Dennis's Heroic Sacrifice.Arthur: Oh my god, Jean... I love you so much. I miss you... I miss you. I'm nothing without you.
- Some of the backstories of the ghosts on the DVD's special features certainly qualify, particularly those of The Hammer, The Dire Mother, The Great Child, The Withered Lover (Jean), The Pilgrimess, and The Angry Princess.
