• Every time Natsuo thinks of/encounters her brother. Seeing our usually cocky protagonist suddenly become so scared and sad is... unsettling.
  • After Natsuo wins her fight with Haruka and earns Karin's approval to enter the G-Girl qualifiers, she practically skips home- and almost runs straight into her brother. Despite being visibly terrified, she tries to talk to him, telling him about the tournament and suggesting he come with her to Takenaka. He throws a bottle at her head.
• Karin gives a speech on the unpopularity of WMMA causing it to be unprofitable thus most women's careers are unstable and cut short (saying they must shine in the time they are given). So appropriately enough the manga is cut short, left in obscurity, only shining in a brief window.
