• The entire moment of Leonard's Heel Realization and Heroic Sacrifice to defeat Embryo. He may have done immoral acts himself, starting with his abuse and obsession with Kaname. But upon seeing somebody else do the same acts, let alone far worse for even his tastes, it makes him think back everything he did and hate himself for it. However, he's already past the point of no return that even stabbing Embryo in the back and giving Earth Fleet Tenku the data they need to save the three Earths will not be enough to earn redemption.
• Captain Okita's death will still hit you hard just as much as the original anime did. In the normal ending, he gets a send-off from every single anime protagonist about how they'll change their worlds.
