Tear Jerker / Pingu

• Pingu and the Barrel Organ, where Pingu helps a poor busker.
• When Robby's flipper is hurt in Pingu Goes Fishing.
• Pinga is Left Out (a.k.a. Pinga Gets Lost or Lost Baby) is the saddest: Pingu and Pingo find Pinga's missing scarf near the edge of a deep pit and believe she has fallen to her doom. This prompts them to tearfully return home and tell Pingu's mother what happened. Of course, she reveals that Pinga is alive and well after returning home by herself, prompting an angry Pingu to hit her with her scarf and forcing their mother to intervene. Doubles as Heartwarming, since Pingu has a hard time forgiving Pinga at first, but they soon make up when he realizes he was wrong as well for excluding Pinga from playing with him and Pingo earlier.
• In "Jealousy"/"Pingu is Jealous", Pingu unsuccessfully tries to get attention from his mother, who is too busy tending to Pinga to respond to him. Eventually, thinking she now loves Pinga more than him, Pingu then climbs into the toy chest and begins weeping. Seeing this, his mother then tells him that she still loves him and allows him to sleep with Pinga, turning it into a heartwarming moment.
• The scene in "Pingu Delivers the Mail," where Pingu's father delivers a letter with some ambiguous bad news to another penguin who is then in tears. Pingu is affected by this news as well. What is of note is that the both the letter's envelope as well as the paper the letter is written on has a prominent black edge. In many countries, a letter or envelope with a black edge almost always indicates that a family member has died. The penguin in question is already a Nervous Wreck when he answers the door to receive the letter. It would seem that he'd been expecting (and dreading) that letter for a while.
• "Pingu Runs Away." Despite being a total brat, it's hard not to feel a little sad for Pingu when he yells at his parents as he leaves after being spanked. To say nothing of his parents freaking out when they can't find him. Becomes tears of happiness at the end though when they find him, apologize to him, wrap him up warm and take him home to feed him hot soup and go to bed together.
