• Phoenix getting his ass handed to him on the first day of the trial. What little evidence he has proves to be fruitless, his client's statement in the courtroom made things worse, and Franziska is on the warpath. All he did was stall for time. Good thing Victoria came to the rescue.

• The Helios-6 incident as a whole.
  • Any time the incident is mentioned, the Leitmotif, Nevermore by Nox Arcana, is a Simple Score of Sadness with soft pianos and violins being dominant, while a soft choir lingers in the background.
  • Dr. Siegfried's description of the scene after the explosion is horrific and heartbreaking, reminding the viewers that War Is Hell.
    The sight... It was like a landscape from hell... Men scattered on the ground, maimed, bleeding, and screaming...the 'luckiest' ones were still in one piece. It was impossible to save them all...
  • Even recollecting is a trial in agony for Dr. Siegfried and Lt. Victoria, and worse for the latter, because Harvey tricked her into believing that the incident was all her fault, leaving her burdened with undeserved guilt for a bastard's actions.
  • The concept of the Dove of Fidelity: being the Sole Survivor of an attack that wipes out the rest of your platoon. When Tenant sees that Harvey had one, even he feels a bit sorry for the man.
